It is assumed that every person in the premises of the swimming pool basin has read the present Rules and undertakes to strictly comply therewith.
The swimming pool basin at Hotel Sopot is an unguarded facility. There is no lifeguard and every user shall be exclusively responsible for their own safety while using the facility.
Children and minors may stay in the premises of the swimming pool basin only when accompanied and attended all the time by an adult person who shall be responsible for their safety.
It is forbidden to leave children unattended. Children who cannot swim must be equipped with swimming armbands or a lifebuoy and must be always within arm's reach of their guardians.
Disabled persons who require direct care or persons prone to muscle spasms or loss of consciousness caused by cardio-vascular diseases may stay in the premises of the swimming pool basin only with an adult guardian or a physiotherapist, after prior consultation with a physician or at their own responsibility.
Persons with unstable health (hearth diseases, circulatory disturbances, balance disturbances or any other similar problems) must use the swimming pool basin with particular caution – after prior consultation with a physician or at their own responsibility.
The swimming pool basin must not be used by persons suffering from infectious diseases, or persons with visible dermatological conditions or dressings and bandages on their body.
The swimming pool is open every day from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M.
Hotel guests may use the swimming pool basin free of charge.
The following persons shall not be admitted to the swimming pool zone:
- persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any other substances having a similar effect,
- persons with external signs of skin damage whose conduct may pose
a threat to the surroundings,
- whose hygiene departs from generally accepted standards,
- children up to the age of 3 without waterproof nappies.
Hotel Sopot Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. shall not bear any liability for the health effects of using the swimming pool basin.
Every person must shower carefully before entering the swimming pool basin.
A financial penalty of PLN 2,000 shall be imposed for contaminating the swimming pool basin.
It is forbidden to run around the swimming pool basin and jump into the water.
Smoking is forbidden in the whole area around the swimming pool basin.
It is forbidden to bring animals to the area around the swimming pool basin.
The management and staff of Hotel Sopot shall not bear any liability for valuable items left in the cloakroom and the changing room, as well as around the swimming pool basin. The loss or finding of any items shall be immediately reported to the swimming pool staff. Keeping items found at the facility constitutes a violation of law.
Persons violating public order or the present Rules shall be removed from the premises of the swimming pool basin, irrespective of whether proceedings in a petty crime case are initiated.
The liability for material losses caused as a result of improper use of the swimming pool basin and any type of damage to or destruction of premises, equipment or devices shall be borne by the user who caused such damage or, in the case of a minor, their legal guardian. The full amount of damage shall be reimbursed.
The staff of Hotel Sopot may temporarily limit access to the swimming pool basin if the maximum bather load has been reached or maintenance works are carried out.
A financial penalty of PLN 1,000 shall be imposed on persons staying in the premises of the swimming pool basin after the closing hours.
Hotel Sopot Sp. z o.o. Sp. K shall not be liable for any accidents and incidents resulting from non-compliance with the present Rules.
To all matters not regulated herein, the relevant decisions of the Management Board of Hotel Sopot Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. shall apply.
